Why Our Garage is Probably the Cleanest in the World

You may not think that a garage should be focused on cleanliness. You might be used to seeing mechanics in greasy overalls and with dirty hands walking around, floors that haven’t been swept in a while and every bit of equipment you can think of lying across the place or covered in oil.

The recent coronavirus outbreak has taught us that maintaining clean surfaces is important, even in a place like Queens Park Garage. Even without this global threat, however, it’s essential to choose a garage that takes its hygiene responsibilities seriously.

How We Keep Things Clean

We’ve invested a good deal in refurbishing our garage Queens Park Garage recently. We’re not only proud of the state of the art diagnostic equipment we have on-site and the skill of our mechanics but we also want to keep your vehicle as clean as possible while we’re dealing with your repairs or servicing.

When you pop into our garage you’ll notice something different compared to other businesses in the area. First of all, we have a cleaner in every night that ensures our premises look spotless at all times. Our mechanics wear gloves and aprons when working inside people’s cars and we always use seat and floor covers to encourage high levels of hygiene.

All our mechanics buy into the idea of being tidy in the workplace and ensuring that we treat your vehicle as if it was our own. It’s annoying if you take your spotless car to a garage and its messy with mechanics that have greasy or dirty hands. You’re likely to end up with stains on the seats or even worse.

Wearing protective gloves

We appreciate that all our customers expect a certain level of cleanliness when it comes to carrying out any kind of repair or service. In the age of coronavirus, unfortunately, this has become even more important. Our processes have been further improved to make sure that we deal with any vehicles appropriately – that includes using bacterial wipes and aerosols to clean areas where we are working. We’re constantly cleaning surfaces and making sure that we are more aware of our surroundings than ever before.

If you do need to visit our garage at the moment, we are also practising social distancing to make sure we keep everyone safe. Whilst we provide an essential service at Queens Park Garage, we would advise that you contact us beforehand by telephone or email if you need to have your car serviced or repairs carried out so we can book you in as normal and discuss your vehicle requirements prior to taking your vehicle in.

We all must put into practice the measures that the Government have recommended and that includes avoiding unnecessary journeys. We can offer a collection and delivery service within a 5-mile radius to save you the option of travelling and we are providing discounts to NHS employees, carers and blue light cardholders. This service is free to the over 70’s.

Hopefully, we will soon be through this challenge. In the future, however, you can be sure that the entire team at Queens Park Garage will continue to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
