What is wheel alignment and why does my car need it?
Wheel alignment is the process of checking that your car’s wheels are set to the correct position and aligned properly to the manufacturers specifications. It is an essential part of looking after your vehicle. It will improve the handling, comfort and safety of your car as well as reducing tyre wear and increasing fuel efficiency. Our resident wheel alignment expert, Shaun, has over 17 years experience in the industry and came to work with us from Christchurch Tyres.

When we perform a wheel alignment check we will give you a print out to show and explain any adjustments that may be required. We will then correct your car’s steering and suspension settings in accordance with the original manufacturer’s specifications and retest your car once the work is done. You will then get a second print out so you can see the difference.
Using our state of the art HUNTER HawkEye Elite™ laser wheel alignment system we can check the full geometry of your vehicle and, as part of the full alignment check, we can also do a suspension system inspection which will help to highlight any worn or damaged parts before they cause a more costly problem.
We can then provide you with a quote for any service with us you will be eligible for a free wheel alignment check. We can then quote you for any adjustments that need to be made and you can decide if you would like to proceed.
